To that end, the Company prohibits the control, possession, transfer, sale, or use of such materials on its premises to the extent permitted by applicable law. The cooperation of every employee is required to administer this policy.
Offices, desks, lockers, file cabinets, and other storage devices are provided for the convenience of employees but remain the property of the Company. They, and any items found within them, may be inspected by an authorized agent or representative of the Company at any time, with or without prior notice. All offices, desks, files, lockers, and equipment provided by the Company are issued for use by employees only during their employment and only for purposes consistent with their employment.
To protect Company property and to help ensure the safety of employees, patients, and the Company, the Company reserves the right to conduct personal searches consistent with applicable law and to inspect packages, parcels, purses, handbags, briefcases, lunch boxes, and other possessions or articles carried to and from Company property. The Company also reserves the right to inspect any item of Company property located on the premises of a patient or school where Company employees perform work, with the permission of the owner or manager of those premises.
Inspections may be conducted at any time at the discretion of the Company by an authorized Company representative.

Employees on the premises or entering or leaving the premises who refuse to cooperate in an inspection, as well as employees found to be in possession of stolen property, weapons, or illegal substances, will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
