Clinical Director (BCBA) Job Description
Position Summary: The Clinical Director at the Company is expected to be a dedicated and experienced BCBA, capable of leading our behavior analysis services. This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating behavior intervention plans to enhance the well-being of our clients and their families while overseeing and guiding our clinical team.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Possess an active Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification.
Clinical Expertise:
- Proficiency in crafting, implementing, and evaluating individualized behavioral programs.
- Skills in training staff on behavioral principles and procedures.
Background Check:
- Qualify as "eligible/pass" for the level II AHCA Background Screening.
Communication and Adaptability:
- Exhibit effective and professional communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability to varied work hours and changing assignments.
Supervision and Leadership:
- Ensure organization-wide compliance with BACB's supervision requirements for BCBA, BCaBA, and RBT credentials.
- Directly oversee BCBAs, holding biweekly conference calls to review supervision protocols and practices.
- Facilitate RBT compliance with supervision requirements.
Program Service and Compliance:
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of Company policies, State, and Federal regulations related to behavioral services.
- Maintain a 95% approval rate for assessments, progress notes, and reports.
- Provide direct oversight of a minimum of six clients, enabling an enhanced understanding of clinical procedures.
Clinic Coordination and Community Engagement:
- Coordinate clinic activities to optimize service delivery.
- Actively engage in community activities, promoting the Company's mission and fostering community involvement.
Partnership Agreements:
- Assume responsibility for overseeing, reviewing, and recommending approval for partnership agreements with other organizations in the field to advance collaboration and mutual growth.
Location and Travel:
- Occasional travel to client locations, clinics, schools, or homes may be required, with geographic considerations in mind.
Equipment and Tools:
- Utilize specialized tools, assessment instruments, data collection systems, and ABA practice software management.
Research and Publications:
- Contribute to the field through research and publications, advancing the practice of behavior analysis.
Language Proficiency:
- Proficiency in languages other than English, when relevant to working with a range of client populations.
- Lead the Company in the credentialing process with the Council on Autism Service Providers (CASP), ensuring compliance and adherence to CASP standards and requirements.

Caseload Size:
