Position Overview: The Director of Human Resources plays a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing all aspects of human resource management and ensuring the effective development and implementation of HR strategies. This leadership position demands a deep understanding of HR principles, strong communication skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders to foster a positive workplace culture and support the organization's goals.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:

  • Lead and manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational needs.
  • Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, regular feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training and development needs to enhance employee skills.

Compliance and Recordkeeping:

  • Ensure compliance with HR-related laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data privacy and confidentiality.

Policy Development:

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational growth and employee well-being.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, promoting a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Offer mentorship, training, and opportunities for the team's professional growth.

Stay Current with Industry Trends:

  • Remain informed about HR trends, legislative changes, and best practices to enhance HR effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with office and other related management software.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Eligibility for "pass" level II background screening.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (E-verify).
