Position: Finance / Billing Liaison.

Position Overview: The Finance Billing Liaison in our organization plays a pivotal role in coordinating financial operations with various departments. This position involves seamless communication with the President and other departments. The Finance Billing Liaison must exhibit a deep understanding of financial processes, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. In the absence of a Billing Manager, this role will also be responsible for ensuring that clinical information and service logs align with billing records. The Finance Billing Liaison must also ensure that all billing is performed in accordance with payers' regulations.
Responsibilities:
Financial Coordination and Liaison:
- Act as the primary liaison between the finance department and other organizational units.
- Ensure that financial data and transactions are accurately communicated and recorded across departments.
- Verify that clinical information and service logs are consistent with billing records.
Billing and Financial Reporting:
- Collaborate with department heads to oversee the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to clients.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to track billing performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure billing is performed in accordance with payers' regulations.
Budget Collaboration:
- Work closely with department heads to provide support in creating and managing budgets.
- Assist in budget analysis, identifying discrepancies and recommending adjustments when necessary.
Financial Compliance:
- Uphold compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to ethical financial practices and maintain transparency across the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including department heads and clients.
- Engage in effective communication to address financial concerns and maintain the company's financial reputation.
- Immediately notify the President of any unusual finance billing-related situations upon discovery.
Problem-Solving and Process Enhancement:
- Address financial challenges with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and financial efficiency.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improved financial performance.
- Generate financial reports for management to facilitate informed decision-making.
By incorporating these additions, the Finance Billing Liaison will be responsible for ensuring billing compliance with payers' regulations, contributing to efficient financial operations, and maintaining strong communication across departments.
