Personal Leave of Absence

More actions

In special circumstances, full time employees who have completed one year of employment may be granted an unpaid personal leave of absence. This type of leave is normally reserved for compelling reasons.

A personal leave may not exceed 12 weeks, and benefits do not accrue during the leave. Personal leaves of absence are granted only after earned vacation has been exhausted.

The Company will make reasonable efforts to return the employee to the same or a similar job held before the leave, subject to staffing and business needs.
