Company Credit Card Use
Any employee issued a Company credit card agrees to the following terms as a condition of using the card.
Credit Limits
The Company may set a maximum amount that may be charged on any Company credit card. Charges that exceed this limit are not authorized and will be treated as abusive use of the Company credit card.
Authorized Use
Employees must follow Company purchasing procedures for all items acquired for Company business. Any charge made with a Company credit card that is not authorized under this policy will be considered unauthorized and will be treated as a willful and dishonest act by the employee.
Documentation
Every purchase made with a Company credit card must be documented by a receipt, which must be submitted to the Company promptly in accordance with Company procedures. Failure to provide a receipt on time may result in the charge being treated as unauthorized and as a willful and dishonest act by the employee.
Abusive Card Use
All card use is subject to review by the Company. Any use of a Company credit card by or through an employee in violation of this policy will be considered abusive card use. If abusive use is suspected, the employee will be notified and may meet with the Company's designated representative in a good faith effort to review and resolve the matter. Abusive card use is treated as a willful and dishonest act.
Reimbursement to the Company
The employee agrees that the Company is entitled to recover any amount charged to a Company-issued credit card by the employee improperly or contrary to Company policy. The employee agrees to repay such amounts in full upon demand. The Company and the employee may agree that the Company will recover such amounts through deduction from the employee's paycheck, in which case the employee will sign a written authorization for the deduction, consistent with applicable Florida wage law. The Company reserves the right to report any conduct that may constitute a criminal offense to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Loss or Theft of Card
If an employee at any time loses possession of a Company-issued credit card, the employee must immediately notify the Company of the loss.
