Solicitation and Distribution

More actions

The Company has adopted the following rules, which apply to both employees and non-employees, governing solicitation, distribution of written material, and access to Company property:

  • No employee may engage in solicitation or promote any cause or organization during their own working time or during the working time of any employee at whom the activity is directed.
  • Employees may distribute or circulate written or printed material only in non-work areas and only during nonworking time. Distribution or circulation of written or printed material in work areas is not permitted at any time, nor is it permitted during the working time of the employee distributing or of the employees at whom the activity is directed.
  • Non-employees are not permitted to solicit or to distribute written material for any purpose on Company property.
  • Off-duty employees are not permitted in work areas.

Strict compliance with these rules is required.

For purposes of this policy, "working time" means all time for which an employee is paid or is scheduled to perform services for the Company. It does not include rest break periods, meal periods, or other periods during which the employee is neither performing nor scheduled to perform services for the Company.

Trespassing, soliciting, and distribution of literature by non-employees on Company premises are prohibited at all times.
