Contact with the Media
To ensure that the Company communicates with the media in a consistent, timely, and professional manner, any employee who is contacted by a reporter or other media representative and asked to speak on behalf of the Company must immediately notify the Senior Director of Operations so that the Company is aware of the inquiry. Do not respond to media inquiries on behalf of the Company without prior authorization. No employee, unless specifically designated by the Senior Director of Operations, is authorized to make statements on behalf of the Company. This rule does not prevent you from speaking with the media in your personal capacity, but you must not attempt to speak on behalf of the Company unless you have been specifically authorized to do so by the Senior Director of Operations, the Director of Finance, or the President.
