Discussions with Patients

While delivering services in a patient's home, school, or other worksite, you may be invited by the family or another caregiver to offer specific suggestions or observations about the patient's program.

Before sharing any such recommendations with a patient or family, the substance of what you intend to communicate must first be reviewed and approved by your supervisor.
