Standards of Conduct

More actions

Each employee is expected to know and follow the Company's policies and to maintain appropriate standards of conduct at all times. Behavior that disrupts the orderly and efficient operation of a department will result in corrective action.

Disciplinary measures may include a verbal warning, a written warning, suspension with or without pay, and discharge. The Company decides which response is appropriate in any given situation, and there is no requirement that any particular form of discipline precede another.

Conduct that may lead to discipline up to and including termination includes, but is not limited to, the following: violation of Company policy or safety rules; insubordination; unauthorized or illegal possession, use, or sale of alcohol or controlled substances on Company premises, during work hours, while engaged in Company activities, or in Company vehicles; unauthorized possession, use, or sale of weapons, firearms, or explosives on premises; theft or dishonesty; physical harassment; sexual harassment; disrespect toward fellow employees, visitors, or members of the public; performing outside work or using Company property, equipment, or facilities for outside work while on Company time; and poor attendance or poor performance. Discharge decisions are based on an assessment of all relevant facts.

Nothing in this policy alters the at-will nature of employment with the Company.
